There's a softness about this that appeals to me and I like the colour of the lighting (sorry don't know what that might be technically - but more yellow than white?}

Nice one kiddo, your on top form again! Love the warm lighting and diffusion, and you've caught her eyes incredibly well. Captivating. Think I'd try a tighter crop at the top, to take away some of that band of darkness and put Alex more in the centre

Stunning portrait.

Hypnotic

Allen

A lovely portrait which is so cute yet mesmersing with her eye contact (perhaps she will grow up to be a hypnotist!).

It reminds me of some recent wedding photos I took, one of the bridesmaids gave a similar look each time she looked at the camera which was so sweet on one hand but also spooky depending on your viewpoint.

I really like the clarity of this shot K.A bit too much "technique" shows through in the larger version though.

Not natural light no, two softboxes on 250 heads. Thanks for all the input on this one all Smile K.

like the lighting too - it's almost overexposed but still retains skin details - very well done

Great portrait! I clicked to view it in the large format and it opened to fill my screen just above her nose. It's a stunning discovery by chance.

Inspirational as ever. The delicacy of the hair coming across the forehead works really well.

It seems to me that the lighting balance is just a little off though with the right being darker than the left.

Cheers

The light was intentionally place to give that effect Jeremy, I've not quite got it right yet as I needed a bit more shade on one side, thank you for your comment its very much appreciated. Smile K.
