Not much to say, a cow in a field, obviously lost and can't read the sign.

Great shot but seems a little flat and maybe a bit too dark. Have you done much PS work on this?

I like this, but something is niggling me... might be the darker patch at the bottom middle.

Oh, I like this!
Excellent conversion, I'd like to see it in colour too.
The sky does look a touch dark, and a bit fuzzy on the horizon, but I'm only being really picky because I'm jealous as I didn't take it!
Nice one

Gorgeous. Now, how did you get such strong contrast while keeping all that texture and detail? I really like this effect on landscape monochromes.

Thanks everyone for all your comments and observations (and the mod too), yes some PS work and I don't know why but I'm loving dark at the moment so that might explain it. Jem no, lettering was already on the sign but thinking about your comment I could have added something of my own perhaps Wink). Thanks Pete for the HC too. K.

Yes, but it's a nice cow in a nice field. Almost passed this by as the thumbnail is a bit flat and grey, but glad I did'nt.

Wonderful detail in the large version, and I quite like the dark feel to the image.

Love the shot - dark and moody works for me too, especially with all the texture in this shot. The dark patch in the foreground is slightly off-putting though, looks like maybe its a shadow from you? Great shot though.

What a great shot K - I love the way you've caught the cow glancing back. Very nice conversion too.

I seem to remember you recently saying that you weren't very good at landscapes and other outdoor photography. You were obviously wrong!

Normally I would say congrats for the HC, but in this case I'm actually disappointed it didn't get an EC, as it's absolutely top of the bill

One thing about you K, you are always trying something different, not quite as bizarre as me but probably with better results LOL..this is great, I am trying so hard to get landscapes right but my eye just doesn't see them, love this hairy cow and your pictures look superb in the book..congrats on all your EC's too, I have just become quiet..but always here..
