Sorry to the kind people who commented on my last upload but I decided it was a bit of a woosy image for halloween so decided to do another plate image instead unfortunately one flower was destroyed in the process :-(

Works well for me. Interesting background is more effective than e.g. a plain black and provides a lovely foil for the staurated colours of the flower.

very classy, background looks ok to me, has a kind of mottled uneven touch that matches the differently sized petals well.

Great contrast between the low key background and bold strong colours of the flower.

I love this one! Great square format. Nice contrast between the orange/yellow flower and the background. This might also work perfectly in a sepia toned style, maybe with some water drops on as well.
