David, thank you, I do like odd or rather not the usual portrait style and think you are right about making it darker, would like to try this with an adult portrait though think it would add something. K.
Thank you Alan and Marie. Alan I asked him whether he could see a cat in the garden from what I can remember, focus, shoot, one picture its all I needed. Luck played a huge part in this one!

this one is really great with brilliant tones, congratulation .the only thing i will arrange is that i will do some small dodging on left corner just to make the out line shape for the head , believe me it helps. As it is the head is lost with the backround
