After crossing 20km of sand flats travelling west from Skaftafell, the ring road crosses the river Aurá and nearby pools. This view looks up the valley near Núpsstaður, with the peak of Króksfjall just visible in the distance.

An interesting composition and I like the format as well as the limited colour palette and contrasts. It gives the photo a graphic quality imo. Excellent work.

I really do like your composition here Ant. The sweeping lines flow beautifully and the flat light seems to suit this stark and desolate place. I even think the grey, featureless sky works here.
