Again from last Saturday, a short while after my previous upload when the Sun had now begun to illuminate the rocks that make up this ridge. The frozen water and frostly landscape indicate the sort of temperature we had despite the warming light.

I don't get why you included such a boring sky and background when you could have made more of that wonderful foreground. There's so much interesting stuff right in front of you that the rest almost doesn't matter, imo - especially as that's where the best of the light is. The main rock, with the little pool in the hollow on top, is just exquisite. That's where the picture is. Right there.
Cheers Jools for your comments, it is good to have another's thoughts on the shot and is much appreciated. I would say that the surrounding areas provide the contrast with the sunlit rocks. I'll give a crop a go, taking out the sky and tightening up on the left and see what it looks like.
