Another experiment using the camera piggyback mounted on a telescope tripod, using the motor drive to counteract the rotation of the Earth and trying to get some deeper exposures of astronomical targets.
This is the Pleiades Cluster, also know as the seven sisters. It is a good test of your eye sight to see how many you can see with the naked eye.
This is the first time I've managed to capture parts of the blue reflection nebula that surrounds these hot stars. There was a nearly full moon around so that will not have helped, one to return to on the next clear night.
13 x 30s exposures, ISO 3200, f/5.6, combined using 'Deep Sky Stacker' software.
