Later on in the day, we had moved round to Wastwater to capture some late afternoon colour on the screes. This is my first upload that has used the automatic panorama feature of the Alpha 77 camera and it does a great job stitching the images together even when handheld as in this example.

As well as the scree slopes you can see the three peaks of Yewbarrow, Great Gable and Scafell.

I decided to leave in my shadow as a signature...

Excellent pano. You should have said that was the silhouette of a walker on a ridge behing you. Even more impressive, and no-one would have been any the wiser GrinGrin (that's what I thought it was initially!!)
