Not quite the same as the Aurora, but as thrilling to capture were these from the beach at Vik.
The volcanic sands shelve away more steeply than it might appear, combined with the wind and power of the incoming tide there will be something to surprise even after watchful waiting.

A tremendous location ( although the petrol/cafe station leaves something to be desired. We were here in an Atlantic storm !!!) Love your 3 wonderful images Melanie, power of the sea and volcano's too.
