working with a model
Hello all I thought I should type up another blog, its been a while, so here goes. After just relocating from Scotland, back to the Wirral, and being without gainful employment, I thought I would spend my time doing something useful, and educational. I'll do a model shoot. What? A model...
Colour Blind
No, not that song by Darius whatshisname. I was chatting to dad the other night, he had had a few drinkies too. We were trying to resolve a problem with a screen image not looking like the printed image. We tried a few things, and I think we got it sorted. The funny thing is, in all seri...
relocating
Well, the time has now come to reveal my big secret. Over the last few months I have thought more and more about spending more time with Mary, my partner of 3 years. So, we have made some plans, i have discussed it with my family, and I am now going to move on up to Scotland to be with her. ...
Scottish Highland Trip
Well, its that time again. A blog entry, yay. Just had a great week away with Mary. The plan was to visit some Highland areas, and head off to John O Groats. We made Spean Bridge our first stop over point. I wanted to stop on Rannoch Moor, but the weather was awful, so we bypassed that. We...
Merry Christmas

First day, new job
Following on from the last couple of blog entries, thought I would update you a wee bit. Had a brilliant first day at the new job. 9.30 start, some gentle training, just to give us an overview of the company and the way it works. Touched on a lot of things, which will clarify over the coming fe...
Leaving it all behind....
Well, after my last blog, about my interview, I just realised I have'nt updated you, ha ha. Sorry about that. Ok, the good news is, I got the job. They made me a good offer, I'm more than happy to accept. So, the next big thing was giving in my notice to RBS, my employer, and telling them I'...
Interview
Hi Thought I would put another blog out there into the ether, as it were. I have been working in my job for almost 8 years now, and I felt it was time to move on, so have been looking around. I had an interview today, for a firm, doing something similar to what Im doing now, but with a few ...
Sad day
Well, where do you start. I just found out my niece, Gracie, 4 months old and with an entire life ahead of her, has passed away. She was teething very badly, and this led to heart failure. We never even got the chance to meet her. How sad is that? Our family is gutted, we're kind of lost....
Top Gear
Well, as a badly underused part of my portfolio, I thought I would try to add something worthwhile. Then it hit me. why not tell you about my experience at the recording of the highly popular Top Gear. I was lucky enough to be on a list with a work colleague, mind you it was 3 1/2 or 4 years w...
Welcome
Originally from Greenock, just west of Glasgow, my dad was a really keen photographer, and over the years he tried to get me to pick it up. I will admit, at first, I didn’t have any interest, but then, my daughter was born. Gennie arrived in 1997, and from that moment on, I have learned everything I...
