Dragonfly at Farchtnersee, Austria, after thunderstormNice colors. Don't know how you can get that close. When I try to get within 10 feet they always fly away. Smile
The head is a tad soft, but still pretty good. Would be nice to see larger.

(Sorry to post this here but I am unable to PM or write messages in other forms to you.)

FYI, if your Olympus software does not let you select quality settings for saving JPEGs, try other free software such as "Irfanview"! A VERY good image viewer with very limited editing ability. (i.e small and fast == nice to use every day)
But it can still perform batch operations and resize with enough settings to allow you to easily post larger images that will remain under the KB limits for this site.
Normally a 600pixel image saved at 75% quality setting will fit well within the upload limits without noticeably degrading most images.

Cerf Island

Cerf IslandLovely scene. I like the composition.

Colors are getting better. Still a bit wild, but more pleasing. Our memory almost always envisions things brighter and more colorful than they were. Im liking the latest images.

FYI, what software do you have for modifying your images? You can choose different save options to adjust the quality and therefor the final file size.

Take a look here for some tips. (The techniques area is filled with good info, from simple to more advanced.)
