iso 100Raw, f22 1/3 sec @12mm, Polarising filter used.

Taken from the path leading to Worms Head a few days ago. Only one or two people had ventured down to the beach, no doubt because even though the sun was shining it was as cold and windy as a winters day. After taking a couple of shots I was glad to get back to the shelter of the car.

Love the effect of that sweeping sandy bay topped by the cloudy sky.

Thought I recognised this location from the thumbnail! Isn't it the most STUNNING part of the world for photography? If this were mine, I might take a bit off the green base - and I would have been inclined to wait for that cloud shadow to push off! Still like it, though!

Great composition leading to a very busy sky. Fabulous location, I agree with previous comment, I would crop away some of the foreground. Be careful if you do, don't crop to traditional ratio like 6x4, this IMHO would spoil your photograph. I would suggest you crop off 25% from the bottom.

Hope you find this helpful.

I agree about the cropping but this is a lovely shot of one of my favourite places.

Nice one Anthony, I love this place too.
The Sigma 10-20 is a fantastic lens isn't it, takes some getting used to though, it's soooooo wide.
Well done.
Geoff.

You're right there Geoff, it's so wide it's scary.

Many thanks Jean and Fred.
Anthony.

Very nice quality to this, I would agree about losing some grass.

Good composition: lovely lead in round the bay, coupled with a good sky.

Excellent viewpoint. I agree about the crop but I like the cloud shadow on the beach.
