| Another nail in the Kodak coffin... Quote: Boomerang printers is what they have been known as, as many were sent back. Kodak took a wrong turn in its early years of digital when panic set in assuming it would destroy their film market. They of course got left behind so far it was nigh on impossible to catch up. I do believe the sensor patents they have is being sold off. Yes, many were sent back but Kodak got to number 2 in the UK (after HP) in both value & volume in just over five years... I know this as I'm part of a field team who brought it to market......I find out later today when I'm being made redundant In Printing

| Another nail in the Kodak coffin... Kodak quits inkjet
I'm sure some people will say good riddance as they certainly had their issues.....but you can't deny that they shook up the inkjet market. In Printing

| aarrrghh.....Amazon! Quote: Ordered a significant amount of electronics from them the other day, amongst which is a Nikon J1 and 3 lenses, another Nikkor lens for my D80, an iPod Touch and lots of presents for the wife and kid. Had it delivered to work as that's manned from 0600-1930 so better than home where there's nobody all day. Come into work this morning to find a soggy parcel in the middle of the yard and our security man staring at it, its so wet the box has fallen away and so has all the packaging inside, revealing a smashed camera lens and a thoroughly broken iPod Touch Is that not a Bin Bag the "courier" throws over that fence!? |

| Hello! Been a member for a while so its time for an introduction!
Well I've been taking photos since the tender age of 9 and then studied photography at Sandwell College but then, other than family shots and holidays my interest dwindled..... So...I've finally got me a new Nikon D5000 and am determined to get back on the saddle and shooting again! I'll be grateful for any feedback and advice and who knows where it may lead!? |
