This is a lovely new model, Carla. A really simple setup in the white end of my studio where I have a SW facing window. On a cloudy day it gives the most beautiful wrapping light that is ideal for these types of shots. No fill, no flash just the D3 and my 85mm f1.8.

Absolutely beautiful.
I'm glad you told us how you shot it - I'd been wondering if I'd ever be able to take good portraits without the use of expensive flash equipment, but this clearly shows that it can be done. In fact, I think I prefer this kind of lighting over flash photography.

A lot more of Carla to come, we did 4 very different sets in about 4 hours.
