Long time away - but thought I'd give EPZ a go again!

Taken on a Northumberland beach. Large version is better if you can manage it.

Comments and criticism of all varieties welcome.

Super play on textures and colours. Well spotted and composed.

Excellent image of a simple found object. The phot has tremendous depth and rich colour.

I presume the blue rope was attached to The One That Got Away!

I seem to be following my other half around as usual... Love this, the combination of textures plus violent synthetic colour with natural tones.

Like the fine detail and highlights on the blue rope. Nice contrast with the pebbles and deeper shadows. Fine shot.

It is indeed good to see you back Steve, your skills are missed.
I too had a biggish break - does us good and makes sure we don't get carried away along the "if I take it like this, it'll do well on ePz" syndrome that it is all too easy to fall into!
This is a beautiful composition and the textures and colours a treat to look at.
Good stuff.

Thanks folks - appreciate all your comments.

Nick, Richard - thanks for the welcome back. A kind of enforced break, but needed too. I haven't been doing much photography to be honest, but I'm beginning to get the urge again Smile
