Taken the other evening on "Fallinge Edge" in the Peak District. The silver birch had orange glow, from the sunset that evening. Used a large aperture to try and isolate the tree more.

Lovely muted colour palette to this image and pin sharp tree, whilst I appreciate that you have deliberatly shot the foreground out of focus I personally find that the out of focus foreground is a blocker which prevents me from really getting into the image. Just my thoughts.

mickp, many thanks for the comment very much appreciate a honest opinion, I know what you mean about the foreground. I had thought about doing a square crop but preferred the version that I uploaded.
