Guardian Angel III

Guardian Angel IIIYou've removed the contrails expertly, leaving to my mind a very different 'feel' to the image. I liked the original because graphically the contrails/ reflections added a diagonal element which I felt worked really well with the horizontal and vertical elements and their reflections. Now I can see that they also added a kind of energy/human interference. Without them you have a wonderfully tranquil and quiet image, almost dreamlike. So I've changed my mind - totally beautiful Smile.

Blowing in the Wind

Blowing in the WindTwo lovely images, Lillian, what a beautiful little bird. Funnily enough Terry and I were talking about siskins today, as he was trying to identify a little yellow bird he saw on the golf course! I've done a mod using the selective focus tutorial from Photo Month, to blur the background. (Forgot to take the blur off the text bottom right, oops!).

Reflection :)

Reflection :)I do like the simplicity of this shot, and the limited palette which focusses the attention. The only thing I would suggest is to crop the dark area from the top, so that just the reflection shows, as it tends to draw the eye away from the boat and doesn't really add anything of value to the image as a whole.

Pet Goat ?

Pet Goat ?That is one huge dog - no wonder it's attracting attention. I love the shot - I'm inclined to agree with Grampy about the crop and his mod does focus attention on the main subject well, though I think it's a little too tight on the right hand side and I rather like the inclusion of the men at the shop/street stall which adds local colour.

Edit: just realised from your title and info that it's a goat, not a dog!! Oops Wink
