Had a day out with my neighbour, Rachel, again today and we visited Buckfast Abbey, chiefly for the gardens (the Abbey itself was under heaps of scaffold and plastic wrap 
).

A beautiful floral image! Lovely colour, DOF and composition! Lovely!
I've been to Buckfast Abbey. We lived in Sidmouth, in Devon, and we often did day trips down to Plymouth. We called in a couple of times to the Abbey! A fine piece of architecture, and a labour of love by the monks who built it.

Love the way the stamens seem to be peeping out from behind the protection of that beautifully blurred leaf in front of them, Theresa. Great comp, filling the screen with 'Lady Penelope' pink.
