Well, I'm expecting this one to bomb - I know it won't be to everyone's taste!! But I've been playing in photoshop and came up with this from a mixture of two images - a close up of a rose (the background) and some seedheads, which I've embossed and texturised. I thought it looked rather like an embroidered silk panel.

Anyway, if you've got this far then I'm pleased! At least you thought it was worthy of a look Smile.

So thanks for looking... and thanks for all your support - so glad my Silly Sunday muffin man created some fun and some interesting chit chat yesterday Smile

I like the simple effect you've created here. It really does look as though it was embroidered.

looks very delicate, almost like a womans hanky - lovely image Theresa
Tammy

It does look just like a silk embroidery and thats what made me look - very simple and very effective and sure there would be someone out there who would love to embroider this. software programmes to change images into embroidery and cross stitch patterns, could come up with something really interesting..JO

Yes it works extremely well. Maybe it would work even better with the drop shadow the other way around.

I like it a lot - tones are very effective as is the "raised" effect of the filters you have used SmileSmile

definitely something else, very deceiving and delicate.
just a small suggestion.. the shade isn't quite right, it should have had a bit a grain to it, or a bit of the brush stroke filter to make it look tex-stylish.. sorry, i sound like a spoiler I bet it was good fun.
