We're off tomorrow for a while - driving down through France and into Spain to meet up with Dan and Harrison for a week, then back home, so will call in if I can, if and when we have wi-fi.
So here are some sunflowers for you - well, different shots of the same sunflower actually
. This was from a bouquet my ex daughter-in-law bought me for my birthday yesterday - silly girl, she knows we're going away tomorrow
. Still, Rachel next door was grateful when I took them into her
.
Thanks for calling and for your comments and clicks in my Rose Bowl Reflections.

I love the composition in V1, outstanding detail and colour in all three.
Steve.
The back door approach works so well with the sunflower, Theresa, and V 1 is a beautiful shot in every way: and the selective focussing in V 3 hash also produced an excellent shot. Very nice work.
Ronnie.
(PS. My only reservation is presenting the images with a colour coordinating EPZ b/g ....... R)
Thanks Steve and Ronnie - and apologies that I'm only clicking tonight. I wanted to post something before going away, but have been so busy getting packed etc. And now it's early to bed for me as we'll be away quite early in the morning.
Ronnie - I agree with you about the b/g actually! I tried black, didn't like it, tried white, didn't like that either, and I ended up with this, but wish I'd kept it black or white
. Might go in and change it if I can...
Theresa
Stunning images Theresa, all so very beautiful and well taken. Have a great time away!

V1 for me, the interest of this view is the spiky, hairy sepals (think that's the term) around the base of the smooth petals, and I want the lines at the bottom as well as higher.

Very fine set, Theresa; V1 stands out for its exceptional graphic qualities and above all its composition.
