With the clocks going forward ... er, that is, back (thanks Mikbee Wink).... tomorrow, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to get out yesterday in such glorious weather - even if we get more days like that, they will be cut short by early sunsets for the next few months Sad.

So this is Charlestown, near St Austell, Cornwall. What a wonderful place, with so many photo opportunities - especially in good weather!

V2 shows this inner harbour just one hour later when the tide had come in and wiped out this little scene Wink.

Thanks for calling and for your support of my Purple Petal Power upload - very much appreciated, as always.

Theresa

Particularly like V 1 with those strong reflections, Theresa........we have a not dissimilar theme today.....'tall ships'.

Good shots Theresa.
And so glad you did not take it down.
It can be slightly annoying when you comment and then find the image has ''disappeared'' !!

Thanks Chris, Mick and Barbara. Er, the dust bunny is just above the tallest mast, right at the top of the image. If I'd known I'd have to point people at it I wouldn't have owned up to it, hahaha!

Oh dear! And to think I pride myself with never getting it wrong, by remembering the old chestnut, "spring forward, fall backwards". A very senior moment, I reckon, too much sun yesterday Wink

dear Teresa, I think I have to see Cornwall on day.
You will be the one to convince me..
I have seen another new face of it in those pictures today, you have well shown the dimension of those defences, they must be HUGE.

Annette You must visit! There are so many lovely places to see in Cornwall - we're in Devon, but right on the border (Plymouth) so we have the best of both worlds!

Looks so interesting Theresa and V1 has such lovely reflections. While in V2 we can enjoy the luxury of the tide being in -always seems to be out where ever I go!!

Thanks Lillian - no, we managed to keep dry, but only just! There were water filled trenches we had to step over and the sea invaded the harbour pretty shortly after we left it!! So I felt lucky to get this shot Smile
