Another couple of images from the gardens at Buckland Abbey. V1 is the ubiquitous Cosmos, such a favourite subject of mine
. V2 is a Helenium. Why can't I get my bugs to turn round and face the camera? Anyone got any tips?
.
Thanks for calling and thanks for all your clicks and lovely comments on my Geranium uploads - hope today's offerings are to your liking too
.

Very beautiful, Theresa, lovely colours and very well composed.
Steve.
Very beautiful images Theresa,V1 stunning work and V2 as good.Well done..Lin
Both lovely captures Theresa. I like both but v2 is very special. Really like the focus in the center and the softness towards the edges. Nice bokeh in both.
I could not help you with bugs. My cat constantly turns his back on me when I'm trying to get a photo ![]()

Both are extremely good, Theresa, but v1 has to take the top prize today, such a beautifully delicate composition that should really be on a greetings card of some sort.
Gorgeous.
Malc
Two lovely images, beautifully captured and presented, for me it has to be V1 by a short head ![]()
Hugh
Both these stunning images are worthy of an upload by themselves. I love V2 but it is rather outshone by the brilliance and beauty of V1. It's a shame as V2 would be a real stunner as a separate upload. Great work, very well done!!
Carol
Two excellent captures, Theresa - agree with Carol, V2 would be a winner for me in it's own right, but love V1 and the presentation ![]()
