Do you have a vase full of bright flowers in the background? Reflections, refraction - excellent stuff for photographs. I like v1, but I'm going against the flow (what's new...) and choosing v2 - I like the black background, I like seeing the whole vase, and it still makes me wonder what's back there.

Anne - I placed the rose bowl on my kitchen windowsill so that the multi-coloured parasol in the garden table was immediately behind it. It was quite a windy day and the folds of the parasol were blowing about, so the results were a bit pot-luck!
