Just came across this on my hard drive - had forgotten all about it (not sure I even remember taking it, lol!). It's from our holiday last year at Lake Garda. I had overlooked it but now think I quite like it - what do you think?

I'm not sure about the composition so I've uploaded the uncropped and unsigned one as V2 in the hope that someone out there will feel like having a go at a mod for me Smile.

Thanks for your C&C on the Glastonbury Abbey set, and for visiting today Smile

Theresa

I rather like the uncropped version--- like them both, but prefer the larger view-- The almost night image is super fantastic!

Lovely light, I think I may like V2 just a little more. Seems the mountains look a little more mysterious, I think...............Sandy

Superb light, color, tonality, depth, clarity, & composition, Theresa, on this lovely Lake Garda image rendering. Hope to have the 'opportunity to visit there, someday.' Smile

I like v2 best also - I like that extra distance. It makes a great composition with dramatic lighting.

Love the mystery of those mountains just visible in the far distant, Theresa. The light would suggest early morning, but that could be clever processing by you, of course.Wink

All about light and the way it hits these three boats. An atmospheric composition.

Lovely observation of light, hitting those three sterns.
I rather prefer the original, it's subtler, and I enjoy that dark mysterious rock on the left. But I've downloaded it and may have a play some time.

Thank you all for your comments. And thanks Moira for the mod - I do like it with the extra space at the bottom, a definite improvement raising the horizon like that, much more harmonious. I often add canvas in that manner but it didn't occur to me here!

I guess I'm in the minority here....v1 for me. It's all about that wonderful light. Then, after feasting on the light, the eye gently wanders to the distant hills.

Thanks Joline and Chris. Yes, I have to say I preferred V1 myself ..... until I saw Moira's mod of V2 and that's now become my fave - in fact I might just go and make the same adjustment and post it as V3 Smile
