Oh dear, I really shouldn't have, should I? Hard to resist though Wink They were parked up, facing the view across Plymouth Sound from Mountbatten, a local haunt of walkers and photographers alike. They might as well have stayed on their sofa..... I hope no-one recognises them and snitches on me GrinGrinGrin.

My main tag is Humour/fun - I fear it should have been Poking Fun !!!

Wishing you all a very Silly Sunday Grin

Theresa

Brings back memories however vaguely related of Wally and Nora Batty in Last of the Summer Wine, something along the lines of:

(Nora) Look at the view! We came all this way to look at the view: why aren't you looking at the view?
(Wally) I've already looked at the view!

And a Silly Sunday to you too Smile

This has given us both a good laugh. Don't worry, it's a gentle and affectionate and I hope they would see the joke.

An excellent piece of social commentary. I can imagine the kind of conversations these two have about their somnambulant jaunts!

Yes, I would hope so too, Moira, but it's a warning to us all: don't park up and nod off - there are far too many cameras out there Wink

A lovely capture.
I'd like to think they'd appreciate it but in truth, unless they're photographers themselves, I doubt it.

Chris: he was asleep too - someone else in our little group thought he was awake, but I circled the car and no, he's not reading, not moving, definitely out for the count!

Great candid shot: how often I have seen older folks at the seaside sitting in their cars fast asleep.......hardly worth the effort.

Looks like part of the queue outside IKEA 4 hours before they open for the "bargains of the year, once only opportunities".
Hope they didn't snore too loud and disturb the peace, Theresa.Wink

Well taken Therasa, excellent observation; have you tried a B&W with noise added to give the impression of a fast shot with something like HP5+ with the ASA wound up.
