Dear Everybody, I’ve reflected so much on which of my works of porcelain-painting choose to show you first. My work, the freedom of the Secessionist style, and to can create - though through many efforts - works of art, painting décor-designes dreamt by my heart, and give pleasure with my work to others, mean a very lot to me! I work the most frequently with two beautiful, noble material: with the snow-white Porcelain and with the gold: with two noble material which I have choosen not only for their beauty but also for the challenge and the will of prove that lie in them. A world glittering with a great shine but bringing many tears, which I would like to show to Everyone
…and this is the point where enter in my life the photography, an Album of 100 pages presenting the collection made by my daughter’s, Hajnalka’s and my own works of art that contains more than 800 décor-designes, many other things that conduct to the world of the books and the films full of pictures, lands, colours and faces…
And maybe one time they can be owned by Everyone.
Many thanks for every comment, morally constructive word, and that you have seen my ”gallery”! I recommend to your attention with affection the few sentences cited below that introduce to the Album’s pictures and the introduction written by my daughter, Andrea. Every word comes from my heart!
Thank you:
Eva.
Recommandation to the Album's pictures:
It’s very difficult to summerize all the things that I would like to give to you as a message in the opening of an Album involving the works of a whole life. Through the photographs of the Album, I am going to guiding you on a long way withouth words, for which journey by the world made living due to the photos taken of the works of art, I have invited some companion of that ones who during my life and in my artistic career were my most faithful guards that were able to strengthen in my belief, spiritual force and exertion also in the most hard times.
I’d like to describe what does the Porcelain-painting mean for me; how I feel myself so fortunated to have been choosen exactly by this field of Art; and that the Porcelain – with its delicacy, grace, beauty and noble material – how is able to condense singularly the works of art’s nature which are at the same time eternal and fragile and existing only for the ”moment”.
My life and so, also my artistic career have been taken prisoner very early by the two most characteristic value of this nice profession. Since I was a child I’ve been striven to create and foster the harmony, the aestetics and the beauty, and I’ve been always believed with enormous belief that these could form men’s soul and make better people’s life around us; …and at the same time I’ve felt from the beginning and it has been burnt in my mind at every turn that all the values becoming important in our life are so fragile, …that while in a moment it’s sparkling, in the other it could be reduce to a falling down fragment deprived of its shine and its past and seeming unsignificant. Being remind often of this, the Beauty, the Harmony and the price of these have claimed a much more bigger part from my heart, like from those who don’t know what does it mean to lose everything at once and to be broken off from the past.
Only the Art’s fabulous empire and the endless world of the Music which doesn’t know the bounds of space and time and can let you arrive so far away, are able to take up the ”fragments” fallen down, whose past has been forgotten, and give them back their shine, even with all the delicacy and every ephemeral nature which are characteristic of them. I’ve received from God the two most beautiful present of a life: my Children and my Work. And I believe that withouth Belief, Affection and Hope everything on the world is senseless.
The works of art that You see in the Album were born by this love, devotion, will of Give and will of Live, for You, and for Everyone who loves the Beauty and who still keep in its heart the childlike pure Treasure of finding the Aesthetics’ value whcih couldn’t be taken away.

Yours very Truly:

About the Aszalós Porcelains - Handpainted
The collection made up from the Aszalós Porcelains tells some very important things about the two artists, creating in the Aszalós Family and about their creator-principles. The highly meticulousity of the motifs tells about their sensibility and their abundance in feelings, while the great variety met here reveals their artistic creativity and their openness to the novelty.
A part of the collection in the property of the family consists of those pieces that were preserved as patterns at the birth of each décor and apart from these there are also pieces destined only for expositions.
Several Aszalós Porcelains are characterized by a rich range of colours, the spcial profundity and shine of which are due to the technical innovation worked out by Mrs. Éva Aszalós who finished her studies in this beautiful field of art in 1974. Characteristic pieces are also the white-gold décor-compositions that, although being of classical nature, are realized in unusual form and as free-hand drawings demand a great deal of virtuosity and professional skill.
In the Family’s private collection, included their patterns designed recently for coffee and tea serveces and single cups, there are more than 800 décors.
Their works of art – within the colours and forms of the secessionist style – are all hand-painted exclusively on the basis of their own designs and are on view in the Family’s show-room. Their all works of art are characterized by fine and meticulous graphic-drawins of (24 karat) gold or platinum, that in the case of several décors signify the fourth or fifth burnt. They work exclusively with colours burnt at high temperature (950-1300°C) and mostly containing precious metals, that they combine and lay on the surface of the porcelain with brushstrokes.
Also the peculiar colour, the particularity of which lies in its light-refraction characteristic of the precious metals, that has been named for Moonlight, is one of the Éva Aszalós’s technical innovations. This colour is the result of a unique technology that renders the differences of the materials almost indistinguishable, glittering in various shades depending on the shape of the porcelain, although it preserves its dominant green colour.
The two artists (mother and her daughter) are intent on found a familiar tradition, hoping that the tradition of creation will be continued in the family, the most regarded result of which is to have the possibility of bringing joy to others.
Thank You for your honouring attention, and I really hope that my mother’s and my sister’s, Hajnalka’s works of art will involve You in the fabulous world of the porcelains.
Yours sincerely:
Andrea Aszalós

What a fabulous world it is indeed. The porcelains are stunningly beautiful and the presentation second to none.

Can't wait to follow the series.

It's an honour to give the first vote.

Best wishes,

John.
