Iain has just very kindly spent ages going through my portfolio, so I thought I would say thankyou by uploading this shot.
I haven't really had much time to do anything great, I was doing some test shots for lighting and thought this may be worth sharing, hope you like it :o)

Taken on a glass surface with a sheet of white Perspex and a small slave flash with a green balloon stretched across to get the green light effect behind behind the sheet of Perspex.

You should write some articles, this is fabulous! K.
Rob, excellent image; thanks for sharing the technique. Just need to find somewhere that sells a sheet of perspex ![]()
the lighting is great, colours are bold
Chrsitine
Yes, definitely professional quality here. Very creative use of colour and shape!

This I think should be titled "The Strawberry'
I also think Pete should be a little less reserved and recognise talent more 'elevatedly' where it exists outside his own preferences (oops!)
This shot could/will live on
Dave
Thanks Dave, Dven, Chris, Becky, Sue and Ivana.
Dave, i'm not sure what it is supposed be really, looks like a strawberry pear to me. It is a very old paperweight that my grandmother gave to me before she died aged 93.
Pete's choice or EC stuff is okayish, usually some odd choices. He usually recognises a technically good image with HC's though.
Top stuff Rob - supurb & surprising as always.
Chris
Amazing effects here ... I love it .... I have read your description on the way you did this ... very very interesting! Thanks for sharing with us all! See ... I believe that an awful lot of great images come from just "messing" about ... trying different things! Keep "messing" about! Click*

Just looked at your mod on Teena's shot - well done - supports my principle -

Thanks Rob, You're up early ![]()
Wish you two were coming to Crete with the others next week!
Superb imagination went into this, you're an artist!
Hello Rob, well exposure to capture colour doesn't get much more vivid than this ...credit to your ability to keep it sharp and beautiful, great outcome to your experiment.
Doug.
Rob, your work is just so inspirational! I've just bought a lightbox (my treat with some book royalties!) can you recommend anything I can read to help me use it properly? Just had a quick play but I've got some marking to do! Any help gratefully receieved! Jane
Fantastic image as ever, Rob. Congrats on the HC.
Jules
