I think some of you are experiencing this kind of weather these days. My mother tells me they are having one storm after the other on the coast of Norway.
There may be a few more of these. I took this in Norway this summer, this very wet summer. I was drenched and it was impossible to keep the lens from getting wet. But boy, doesn't this kind of weather give some great atmosphere ![]()
Thanks for looking,
Anne

The lens baby gives the image a sense of lashing rain, I'm getting a fan of the baby.

The LB radial blur makes those trees almost alive. I'm not sure if they are menacing or protective but they are certainly involved.

YES. That is what it is like here at the moment. Your zooming effect takes you along with the wet wind.
Yes, we've been having lots of weather like this lately...though the sun has actually put in an appearance this afternoon!
Nice capture, Anne, and the LB works well on this subject ![]()

The lensbaby works perfectly here
Great atmospheric image
We are having plenty of rain and high winds here at the moment Anne, well done on capturing the mood,
Geoff.
You'd have pleasant memories of this when you got back to scorched Texas Anne
Good to see you made the best of it and got out and about, the choice of mono and the lensbaby has assisted very well in conveying the misery of a holiday in the rain. I had lots of experience of it before I came to Canada, every year I went to Harris the last two weeks in July, and only one in four was good, but when it was good, it was like being in paradise, and you quickly forgot the others, and all the paperbacks you'd devoured back then! They've had 100MPH winds in Scotland earlier this week, so can imagine Norway having some of the same.
Rgds., Jim
