Very dull day here today - am having a need for some colour Smile I hope everyone had a good weekend.

Taken in the morning in my back garden when the poppies were in full bloom.

Thanks for looking,

Anne

He has a very contented look to him! The Poppies and Iris do add a lovely suggestion of colour too. Glorious sunshine after a seriously frosty start here today.

A rather glum looking gargoyle, not even that de-focussed colour is cheering him up. Excellent LB effect on the flowers, Anne.

Isn't he cute? Moira will love him even more than I do, I think.
The Lensbaby works wonders with out-of-focus flower heads.
Our bright weather has continued into today but the temperature has only risen to about 35F/2C Sad

Lensbaby colours have that hypnotic, dream-like intensity... When that appears as orange bullets of light the effect is rather special! The little fella is the focal point, the exploding flowers are the real interest for me.
This is funny, I have some quite different Lensbaby pictures of a very similar character to upload sometime soon... Wink

Must get an LB!

The morning light in the poppies really is eye catching but you were able to direct our attention to the stone figure by using your LB.
Very nicely done.

Yes, something that I don't think would have worked as well with a regular lens.
