I've been spending some time at our local shopping mall - felt it was time to get back to some street photography.
Summer has arrived. It was 26C here today and just beautiful. I spent most of the day trying to figure out the new bus system in Bergen. I had an errand outside the city and it took me 3 buses to get where I wanted to go. I have to admit I miss my car...........
Apologies for clicking today - it's been a long day and I'm just starting to feel rested.
Thanks for looking,
Anne

I like the inclusion of the distant figure, presumably going out of the building as he/she has shopping bags in both hands.
Bergen Storsenter/Kløverhuset/Xhibition?
Summer visited us today...equally warm as Bergen and the promise of more the whole week![]()

Oasen i Fyllingsdalen - de holder på å bygge på, sannsylingvis for at vi skal få flere klesforretninger......
Ooooh I like! Isolation, loneliness, regrets.

And I like having a UA from you
Thank you very much Moira.

Further thoughts, because I am enjoying this more and more - it's an exemplary portrait composition, there's a narrative running up and down the frame and a relationship between the top and bottom. This really is excellent.

Yeh, wot she said!
. It's one of those images that doesn't have immediate impact but draws you back to it, then up and down the image. It asks unanswerable questions and leaves you somewhat disquieted. Moira put it more eloquently. An excellent street image, Anne.

I know what you mean about getting back to the streets. There's something really satisfying about it and I think it's because it's real life going about its business.
I love this. So simple, with an empty space separating two ordinary people with various bags and prams, time suspended for just a moment.
Chris
a limelight for the old lady.. who can easily get overlooked!
perfect timing .
Great mono image, Anne, with the two figures perfectly positioned ![]()

A true Anne shot...........and that's a high compliment Anne!

PS. Glad to see you're finally getting some decent weather, though if you're like me I'm not so comfortable when it goes over 25C, unless the humidity is low! But, of course, you're used to Texas, tend to forget that when you're back in your homeland!
