Taken at the re-enactment of "Up the Chisholm Trail" in Georgetown, TX

I'm sorry if I've not been able to get back to some of you on your uploads - for some reason I'm having a difficult time getting photos in the gallery to open - at times I feel as if I am on an old dial-up connection. Hope the matter will be resolved soon!

Thanks for looking,

Anne

Love the dof you used here Anne, conveys a time past.
Ron.

Marvelous capture. I like very much you focusing on the foreground and keeping the man slightly out of focus. I'd love to see a B&W version of this picture Wink

I've been working on that Al, but so far have not been happy with it. In time, hopefully Smile

I do prefer the coloured version since it shows the heat

As nearly always, colour gets my vote! Great focus.

Ann

looks like you captured the smoke and heat to add detail to the dof of him... terrific work

V1 for me. Nice use of DOF. By the way -- I had problems with the site last night. So, it is not just a problem in your neck of the woods.

great image, the shallow DOF makes the viewer concentrate on things to come. Can't help feeling for the poor cattle though!
colour for me as it shows the glow.
