Robert was one of the participants in the 2010 re-enactment of “Up the Chisholm Trail” held in the San Gabriel Park, in Georgetown, Texas.

I like the way you've balanced the composition with the lamp hanging top left. It creates a very nice triangle - face, hands, lamp - that keeps the eye exploring.

This is an excellent portrait, Anne, well composed, good balance and works a treast as a mono.
However...I don't know if it is just me, but that ring on his finger distracts me every time I come back to the image. I would love to see it cloned out....or am I alone on this (wouldn't be the first timeWink)
