Anne, you did a great job of capturing this very interesting sculpture -- especially with the painting in the BG.

The thumbnail had me wondering-- the larger image is wonderful, Rose, enhanced with texas---and the painter is right to make her mostly yellow!
(Yellow Rose of Texas.......)

Stunning composition, creating a fascinating relationship between the two faces; stunning colour too. I covet this. I'm now in depression because it's so far away.

A perfectly balanced image, focused in precisely the right spot and with the planes well separated. The background face looks sinister: as it is defocused its intentions are unclear, increasing the tension in the composition. Excellent.
Bill

The tension between the two figures makes this into much more than a photograph of an art work. You have turned it into a very fine visual statement.

how well you composed this - I don't normally care much for pictures of art- but the way you did it there is a new context it is as if the sculpture is turning on the portrait watching her!

No idea what Sheryl is trying to say with this as I can see no connection between the subject and its title, the Yellow Rose of Texas? or an elaborate spoof on that? Nicely taken by you anyhow Anne,
