An unusual sculpture named Rose; made of fiberglass and covered with photographic images from all over Texas. Rose is the creation of Sheryl E. McDonald. The painting in the background is the creation of husband Jimmy McDonald.

Stunning composition, creating a fascinating relationship between the two faces; stunning colour too. I covet this. I'm now in depression because it's so far away.

A perfectly balanced image, focused in precisely the right spot and with the planes well separated. The background face looks sinister: as it is defocused its intentions are unclear, increasing the tension in the composition. Excellent.

how well you composed this - I don't normally care much for pictures of art- but the way you did it there is a new context it is as if the sculpture is turning on the portrait watching her!
