Very good soft focus feel to this Anne, and you have caught the back lighting perfectly along her back and around the tips of her ears.
My two are never this cooperative!

A very lovely looking cat, Anne, and very nicely posed for you too - they're not usually very co-operative when having their photos taken! ![]()

the softness takes some getting used to, but then it befits our soft and gentle felines
lets you concentrate on the graceful lines.
The image it self is a little too soft for me...
This may be the effect you were after I do not know...
I do like it....
You are making me think I shoud put my old cat on site now...
Yes I will I do that in next few weeks...
It shows the power of your image when some one get inspired....
Nice work...

A thank you to those who took the time to look and/or leave a comment. Much appreciated.
As for the softness of the image: yes, I was going for a slightly dreamy look here - some soft focus filtering was added to the original image.
I can do sharp, getting something soft and still pleasing is not quite so easy. Also, the lensbaby used wide open does render an image soft/blurry.

Where ever there is a sunny spot in the room - they find it! Superb capture, it shows how much he enjoys the sun.
