Not my usual kind of thing this, but I like it.

I was sat at home watching my son play - he's 6 months old here, and he's just learnt to crawl. He loves exploring, and as soon as he was mobile he became unstoppable.

This photo just presented itself one day - Sam made his way to the front door, the light started shining beautifully into the hallway and all I could lay my hands on quickly was my the camera on my phone!

It's a real shame I didn't have my 'proper' camera handy but I still love this photo, distortion, noise and all. I've left it completely untouched (my phone put the border round it for me!)

All comments gratefully received.

Thanks,
Lianna

It's a bit wonky, it's noisy, there's a bit of jacket intruding into the top of the frame, the shoes don't add much.

But I love it.

Spot-on Dave!

It's one of those shots that suddenly present themselves. They're all a part of being a parent.
We could all (probably) contrive a shot like this using our "proper" cameras with straight verticals etc. but they'd never have the magic or evoke the memories in years to come that this one will.
My daughter will be ten in a few days time and I've got hundreds like this!

Bren.

I love the point of view, showing just how small he is in a big world - it needs framing and putting on a wall! Grin

I love the coat, love the shoes, love everything about this. In my opinion this is an amazingly wonderful image in so many ways, natural and real. One of my favourites.

Superb shot. A babe's eye view too. I've not seen such an original child image in a long time.
