As part of documenting daily lives in China, as I was wondering through the village road, I found this elderly lady looking after her grandson, which typifies Chinese society and the closeness in family relationships. In China, grandparents spend alot of time looking after their grandchildren to allow the parents to work for the family.
I was very fortunate to be able to stand so close to them and capture this portrait of Grandmum and grandson, which will be printed off for them in the near future, which is a capture of that moment in time.
