Beautiful sunrise - great colours, and though I'm a sworn clouds fan, I think more of the beautiful palms silhouettes and less of the sky would have been more unique - just an idea for next time.

V2 has outstanding details - you certainly know your macros
V3 I think has potential - the mood is good as is the composition with the child included to give an object to focus on and relate to.
I also like the mono toning which makes this image stir up memories of a sunny day at the sea. I think the image is a tad too dark so try brightening it up a bit (especially the foreground as it seems to have good details). I'd also try and focus on the part of sky that has clouds as much of the upper part of the image is just blank - so try cropping a little from the top.

Wonderful close up Dave - just a tiny suggestion - as it was the eyes you were focusing on (which I think is a clever choice), a little bit of sharpening and brightening could lift this image and draw even more attention to those stunning eyes.
