Did you miss me? lol Wink

It's been a while my dear friends, and most of you know I haven't run off to Mexico, but was preoccupied with future planning regarding my upcoming university studies...among other issues I won't bother you with now.
Finally things seem to be coming along and what a better way of celebrating that than coming back to epz and catching up with you lot? Smile

I'm afraid I still have a lot of bureaucratic nonsense to finish with, so my time on the site is still not full. Therefore I ask your forgiveness in advance for lack of comments, I'll try and do my best.

As you may have known, my photography course held an exhibition of our personal projects, which we each worked on for about two months. I've done my project on the closest subject to me - my parents.
During the two months I've observed them closely with and without my camera trying to capture, as naturally as possible (I can understand why it's hard to act and feel natural when you have a camera up your nose) their features - as individuals, as a couple and as parents. I present to you my work (categorized as above, as I can't upload 20 shots at once) - different to my usual images, as there is no PS involved or any other editing - the truth as it was "captured".
I hope you enjoy it...

a fine set of images, i really liked version 7 for two reasons, one is the thoughtful distant expression and secondly as it made me smile as it appears that she could be biting someone elses thumb nail...Smile

This is the sort of intimate understanding that we have with people very close to us. It's a wonderful set, and they do work together as a set, but as well as V1, V2 and V8 are outstanding and I reckon they deserve individual uploads.
Welcome back, and all the best for your future studies.

well done on capturing these so naturally with no processing, they are a lovely and intimate set which you will treasure always, not just the images but the thought and process behind the capturing of them. some very nice work.

Glad to see you back and on such a positive note too.

What a wonderful come-back series - I'm sure they did really well for you in the exhibition. You really have captured the essence of those you love and there is tenderness and empathy within the images.

Well done you.
