Good night everyone!

I'm stopping for a quick hello and catch up as things are still pretty stressed. If work and the project weren't enough my cat decided to make things worse. We had my family over for a nice holiday meal last Friday and like always the kitchen was filled with dishes. My daft cat decided it was the best time to jump off one of the cabinets into a bowl, drop it and then land in the debris... Poor Tooly cut his tail so deep he needed three stitches Sad
He's better now, but have to wear a round collar which makes him even grumpier.

All Drama... Smile

Anyway - a last upload from the people of Nara. This lovely lady sold sweet potatoes near Nara's museum. She seemed to gather up quite the crowd and we got a taste from one of her wonderful hot potatoes though had to sneakily eat it on the bus as it's not allowed...

Large has some better details if you have the time...

Weekend!! yippee Smile

beautiful composition as always A, and perfectly exposed for what looks like quite tricky light conditions.

The images are well composed and exposed to catch the sun and still see the detail in the face. I like that facial expression in v2.

Glad you had a taste of sweet potato as they're popular in Vietnam as well.

regards
Yung

Two more great examples of street photography Ayelet. Was she talking to a buyer in the second shot?

Lovely images. Brought back great memories of our trip to Nara in 2000. They sure do grow big sweet potatoes in Japan!
Sorry to hear about your cat, our 3 get up to mischief like that too! They are good company though! Have a great weekend.
