Pausing again from Japan - thank you all for the wonderful comments on my latest uploads. Very much appreciated and happily accepted as I wasn't sure the images were any good
This image was taken on a little trip I took with my parents and grandmother this last Saturday. We went to "Beit Jamal" (The house of Jamal) monastery, which is a catholic monastery of the Italic Salesian group, located not far from Jerusalem. This "young man" is one of the monks at the monastery and he generously explained to us a little about Saint Stephanus church (The room seen in the image).
There is also a women monastery, which is actually the main structure of "Beit Jamal", and the nuns there practice carpentry and ceramics.
The past week has been a madhouse at work, so I'm sorry for my lack of comments. I'll try catching up with you all, sorry for clicking and running. Hopefully the weekend will be relaxing enough...
I've also started a photography course which I'm very excited about - fingers crossed it will help me improve
Have a great evening...
