We made a visit to Battersea Power station today with Open London weekend. Amazing to see the inside and to vist the Pump House and the Saatchi Gallery. Full day finished off with some night photography as seen here. Iconic London. Changed the title, wrong station Blush

The soft pastel snake of the train adds a really dynamic sense. But I'd get rid of that little bit of foliage creeping in on the right, it's annoying me no end.

The night view works well: in ordinary daylight, it looked decidely run down last time I passed...

It is iconic, and deserves to be fully (and rapidly) restored to peak condition. With or without pink balloon...

Bums! Forgot all about Open Weekend - again!!! Sad
Top shot. I wonder if it'll still be open for viewing next year before the developers move in.

Excellent as ever. Must get myself set up for the next Open London. My sister and her husband live in the Smoke near Tower Bridge and they like to use the opportunities provided by the open weekend. i just have to make sure I get to visit them at the right time Smile
