Garden Spider - araneus diadematis, taken in our garden.

The image on the left was taken late last night and the image on the right about 10 minutes later, she was disturbed either by my presence or the dog barking and hid behind the leaf.

A quite extraordinary pair of macro/close up photographs Fred, in which you have managed to captured the gorgeous colours and immense detail in the rather beautiful Common Spider, so very well indeed.

Great spider! tiny at the beginning of the year by Autumn the are very big! think of all the fly's they have got rid of lol. nice detail Fred and yes they do hide quite often, Like both shots very well captured, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
