Clydesdale horse "Duke" being led back to the stables by head carter Lorraine after a day in the field. By pure chance I captured this one with the fronds flying up from the hoof.
(Duke also featured in my image Cheek to Cheek (18 images back) as he was reshod).

I like how you show the relationship between the two, how gently but firmly she leads the horse and how the horse steps forward in confidence.

Great image Ronnie, beautifully composed.
I feel as if I know these horses now.
Duke was resting when we were there.
Lorraine handles them so well - her red shirt is good contrast for the green.
As already mentioned, you've captured a special understanding between horse
and mistress.
