Hugh
poor thing having all those big black cameras pointing at her
tho' the shots made me laugh
V2 captures the personality of that delightful vixen beautifully.
Perfect foxy shot in v1, Lillian, backed up with some lovely humourus candids.

A great set,but to be honest I Just dont like foxes, and the reason is that he will kill anything on the farm, and it is heart breaking when you see your Goose with her 9 new born been killed by the fox,and once he managed to go inside the Hen's shed and killed the lot,and when I went to let them out that was a horrible thing to see them all dead on the floor![]()
Netta
A nice set again Lillian

Yes sad when something like that happens Netta, all you can do is try to prevent it, can be hard to stop. The worst thing is from what you were saying that i am guessing none of the geese were taken for food or anything and just left there?? Makes it worse in a way. Sadly as with many wild animals, they do not know any different, its just natural instinct. Does not make that any easier for anybody rearing chickens/Geese.
Must go for V2 Lillian it is hilarious, when a fox gets into a chicken shed they panic so causing a frenzy on the fox, not nice but what about farmers killing their animals for food! Same thing I think. All depends on the date, I would be interested in visiting with you all, are there places near by to stay the night because Surrey is a fair old treck for me.
Regards
Trev.

A wonderful capture in V1, Lillian, and nice to see it frolicking amongst the other photographers in V2 & V3 also - not something we usually get to see ![]()
Sorry I couldn't speak longer to you last night, we were in the middle of a Camera Club committee meeting
I must have missed seeing the program about Venice when I checked the program guide, otherwise I'd have recorded it. No doubt it will be recycled and shown again soon! ![]()

Netta
I have had experience of this type of behaviour and it is most unpleasant. All we can say is that this is the foxes natural behaviour and we shall never change it. Cracking good shot however.

A super set Lillian, v1 is the pick but v2 made me chuckle
V1 is a dream shot, but the others are so informative, showing clearly that a good day was had by all.
Great shots, Lillian. Good to see.
@Netta. Much as I sympathise, what you experienced is nature at work, there's nothing we humans can or should do to prevent it. we interfere too much with nature as it is already. This has been happening for thousands of years.
