These little fellas usually make an appearance during the Spring, but I spotted this guy attempting a bit of pole vaulting on a grass stalk
Super image Carol... So much detail and the clarity is astounding.
Good morning Carol - You do get really good macros with the Panasonic
Inspired by the Olympics I suspect.
Lovely shots Carol, the way everything fits together on insects is so efficient,
Awesome detail and clarity in these Carol, particularly in v1
Lovely shots Carol,
the velvety essence of the insects back in V1 is wonderful and the "bird on the wire" pose in V2 couldn't get any better! Well done you!
Colourful little critter ~ two fine macros and No. 1 gets the vote.
No 1 for me too.
belting detail carol wonderful colours and comp v2 for me today a cracker nice one
Excellent captures Carol, great detail in both,
Two fantastic and great shos ,Carol, very well done,
Two first rate macro-photographs, in which you have captured the superb detail and natural colours in this above life size and rather handsome creature. Version Number 1 certainly enhances all the key elements which are needed to produce an image of this quality.
These creatures take photographs of you, Carol, with their cameras [eyes]. Look at V2. - Raja.
They look good enough to eat, Carol. Lovely crystaline, sugar-coated exture. Two crackers.
I am glad I am not an insect ... that stem dancing looks like hard work
That Lumix fairly does the job in capturing very fine detail, Carol: two excellent studies of your pole vaulting chum.
Love the pole-vaulting idea. I now have this vision of the pole bending under his weight, followed by boing...
Perhaps he might make it into the next Olympics! Two real cracking close-ups here, Carol, love 'em both
When I saw the title I thought I was going to see a Roman Emperor! excellent detailed captures again Carol.
2 Very nice images...
Nice colours and DOF...
Top work done again..
what a lovely jacket he has we had a belter of a sheild bug drop in by the back door the other day but was too busy to get the camera out................... so I ordered him to leave
