Gorgeous butterfly Jenn.
Beautifully taken against that contrasting purple.
You have some great specimens in your part of the world.

PS.
The MIDGE is a little insect particular to Scotland.
they come out in their thousands in damp, warm days and late evening.
Their bite is ferocious and we've all been bitten on the face, eyes and any exposed bit of flesh!
Avon's Skin-so-Soft helps deter them.
They are different from mosquitos.

An extremely beautiful and well captured butterfly so full of gorgeous colour and exquisite detail throughout. Furthermore this beauty certainly puts my moggies in comparison to this to pedigree to shame.
