It's that day again! Will we have another one like it this year? This old routemaster now serves fish and chips, quite an unseemly end for such a great icon of London. It wasn't serving fish and chips this day, it was just providing photographers with an extra to put in their images!

It certainly does brighten things up - I was in England as long ago as 1972 and had the joy of being jostled around on the top section of one of these.

Welcome to EPZ Maggie. You have a good eye for a shot, and a good attitude. I wish my wife would share my enthusiasm!

Serious climate change (check the date takenGrin). I haven't seen this chippie, makes an excellent subject with the red in the snow, and an almost surreal scene. A well taken opportunity, Maggie.

I think this is a great use for a routemaster. Two iconicals in one. Smile
I really must make an effort to get to the South Bank if it snows. You and Ron got some superb pics down there and I want to have a go. GrinGrin

The owners missed a great opportunity for a big impact, unlike you who captured the moment for our delight.

The bus does make splash of colour in an almost otherwise colourless scene: at least it has survived this way, better than landing on a scrap heap I suppose.
Fine shot from the snowy capital.
Ronnie.
