This is a good close-up I do like the detail. And I would like to welcome you to EPZ from all the juniors

Hi Zoey, welcome to EPZ!
A gorgeous initial upload. I love the bright yellow against the green - perhaps getting a little closer would have allowed us to see a few more details in the Hover Fly, but I know how hard it can be taking images outside, when the slightest breeze can make your subject move!

I would have liked to go closer, but this was no macro objective, so I couldn't. It was only the 55-105 mm Objective from Nikon. It's not really for macro shots, but I tried my best
lovely bright yellow with the little insect fir added interest- very well done-
Your best is ok just keep at it and I like to see more of your work soon
