Took a trip down to Brighton with some friends at the weekend and came across this little boy having a whale of a time throwing rocks into the sea.
I have used PS to bring out more colour and used the patch tool to remove lots of speckles from the sea spray.
All comments and critique welcome and appreciated.

The idea is good, the landsape format gives a good feel of isolation.
However, for me you have lost a lot of detail in the sky by going mono, the highlights on the sea are burnt out right in the f/g, the rock that the person is standing on is smack on the horizon. I don't know if this was intentional but it doesn't work for me.
Your best shot for me is 'Angle of Suspense'.

Thanks for the comments Malcolm...i will work on this again tonight...to adjust the curnt out FG water.
The level horizon/rock is pure fluke...!
There wasnt really much detail in the sky any way and the original looked a bit flat because of this i converted to mono.

I like the toning too . You could try and grab the rock with he boy on and lift it a little , it should work as its a silhouette. overall I like the the shot
Living in the desert... craving for any kinda water body..with the closest being not within 300KMs any direction of where i live... all i will saw is...This seems like heaven... \m/
Great capture.. !! btw the dying sun reflection effects are great here... make the water piece in the foreground seem like a single glistening solid object!!
