Hi there,
Thanks very much indeed to all of you above for your kind remarks and observations. It has been a long time since I have posted here but that has been due to personal reasons not anything to do with the site. I hope now to visit on a regular basis whether I post or not.

To SandyMiller :
You asked whereabouts in Tuscany was this? To be honest with you off the top of my head I cannot remember. I do know it was shortly after 0600hrs one morning while the mist was still around and the sun just had been up a while before that. I think it was out in the country around a placed called Sienna but if you really want to know I`ll see if I can get some info from my exif data which might place it for me re time and dates as I was moving around the area on that trip.

Not to worry - just curious as I spent a week around San Quirico d'Orcia myself last month. Thanks anyway

I really think that you have captured a good one here. Has a sense of pre-dawn/dawn stillness that really comes through well. Lovely colors and texture.
